Formowanie is a place to make things.

Located in the heart of Kraków’s Kazimierz district, Formowanie is a creative makerspace built around one simple idea: people should have access to the tools, space and freedom to turn ideas into something real.

Our space brings together ceramics, pottery wheels, laser cutting, 3D printing, electronics, digital fabrication and hands-on making under one roof. Whether you want to throw a cup, build a prototype, cut a custom template, learn a new craft or simply have somewhere properly equipped to work on your own projects, Formowanie gives you the space to do it.

We are not just a workshop and we are not a traditional school. You do not need to be an artist, designer or engineer to belong here. Beginners can learn, experienced makers can work independently, and people from completely different disciplines can meet, exchange ideas and create alongside one another.

Members have access to shared tools, workspaces and equipment without having to buy everything themselves. Workshops and classes are available when you want guidance, while independent access gives you the freedom to experiment and develop your own skills.

Formowanie is also about creating a respectful community. We take care of the tools, clean up after ourselves, respect other people’s work and share the space in a way that allows everyone to create comfortably.
