Candle Making
Candle Making Studio in Kraków
Formowanie provides a shared candle making studio in Kraków for hobby makers, designers, small businesses and anyone who wants to experiment with making candles without setting up a dedicated workspace at home.
The studio can be used to make container candles, moulded candles, beeswax candles, scented candles, wax melts and small product collections. You can experiment with different waxes, fragrances, colours, wicks, vessels and moulds, or use the space regularly while developing your own candle brand or handmade product business.
You can book the studio for an individual project, learn the process through a workshop, or join Formowanie for regular access to the workspace and shared equipment.
Candle Making Tools & Equipment
The candle making area provides the basic equipment needed to melt, measure, mix, pour and finish candles safely and consistently.
Shared equipment includes a wax melter, pouring containers, digital scales, thermometers, moulds, wick preparation tools and general working space. Members can bring their own wax, fragrance oils, wicks, vessels and other consumables or purchase selected materials through Formowanie when available.
Different candle-making techniques can be explored using soy wax, beeswax and other suitable candle waxes. The studio can be used for traditional container candles as well as free-standing moulded candles, wax melts and experimental forms.
Because candle making is part of the wider Formowanie makerspace, custom projects can also make use of 3D printing and digital fabrication. For example, custom shapes can be developed digitally and used to create moulds, masters, stamps, packaging elements or other tools for a candle collection.
Available equipment: Wax melter · Pouring jugs · Digital scales · Thermometers · Candle moulds · Wick tools · Shared workspace
Make Candles for Yourself or Build a Brand
Candle making is an accessible craft, but producing candles regularly requires workspace, storage and equipment that many people do not want to keep at home.
Formowanie gives you a place to experiment with recipes, test different wax and wick combinations, develop fragrances and produce small batches without immediately investing in a separate studio.
The space can be used for personal projects, gifts, markets, online shops, product testing and small-scale commercial production.
For someone starting a candle business, a shared workspace also makes it easier to develop products gradually. You can test vessels, scents, labels, packaging and moulds before investing in larger equipment or your own production space.
Book the Candle Studio or Join as a Member
If you only want to make candles occasionally, you can book the candle-making workspace and shared equipment for a specific project.
For regular use, the Candle Making Membership provides a simple and affordable way to use Formowanie as your ongoing workspace. Because the equipment is shared and consumable materials are purchased separately, candle-making membership can be offered at a lower price than equipment-intensive departments such as pottery or welding.
Membership: 150 zł/month
Shared candle-making workspace and equipment included. Wax, fragrance, wicks, vessels and other consumables are charged separately.
For occasional users, a 50 zł day pass would also provide a simple option without requiring membership.
Candle Making Workshops in Kraków
Our candle making workshops in Kraków are suitable for complete beginners as well as people who want to understand the process before beginning their own candle projects.

The workshops are suitable for adults, teenagers, groups and creative events. They are also a useful starting point for anyone considering making candles regularly or developing their own small candle brand.

It can be particularly useful while starting a candle brand because you can work from an existing studio rather than immediately renting and equipping your own production space.
